Coleta Aline Christmas, 73, of Eufaula, passed away peacefully Monday, December 7, 2020, at her home. Coleta was born on September 23, 1947, in Indianola, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Perry and Annie (Neal) White. She graduated from Clarksville High School, in Clarksville, Arkansas. On October 30, 1965, Coleta married Terry Don McKinney in Poteau, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1982. On July 15, 1988, Coleta married Harvey J. (Chris) Christmas. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2010. Coleta owned and operated Northside Liquor Store in Eufaula. Coleta was a member of the Eufaula VFW Post 8798 and a life-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the board of directors for the Eastern Oklahoma Library Conference and the Board of Local Library. She was an active supporter of the local Toys for Tots and an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: her son, Kevin Don McKinney and wife, Diane; a granddaughter, Kassidy (McKinney) Hollis and husband Aaron; her brothers, Bill White and wife Vivian, Bobby White, Jim White, Larry White, Loren (Ed) White and wife, Carla; her sisters, Jean Beatty and husband, Glenn; Teresa Larrison, and Debbie Holt and husband, Bill. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Annie White; her first husband, Terry Don McKinney; her second husband, Chris Christmas; brothers: Ray Hanshew, Jackie Joe Hicks, and Scotty Lee Hicks.
