A precious baby boy was born to Freddie Mae Medlock and Auther Lee Pierce on February 6, 1934. He attended the Booker T. Washington School. Clarence joined the Methodist Church at an early age. Clarence played basketball and was in the Booker T. Washington band. Later, he met the love of his life, Lou Jean Brown. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of seventeen, came back home and married Lou Jean Brown on June 23, 1951 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He retired after twenty-one years in the Air Force on October 7, 1971. Clarence later worked at Knight Food Store for over a year. On August 11, 1975 Clarence Lee Pierce was awarded grateful appreciation for dedicated service during an honorable discharge of twenty years. He retired from the United States Postal Service on August 9, 1995. Clarence also retired after seventeen years from the Eufaula School Board. He was on the Eufaula City Council for over fifteen years. Clarence loved to cook, barbeque, and listen to music, especially blues and jazz. He enjoyed being around people, family and friends. He was a wonderful father that put his family first and did whatever he could to comfort and secure them. Survivors include: sons: Jerry Pierce; David Pierce; Tony Pierce, all of Eufaula, OK; daughters: Terry Warrior, of Eufaula, OK; Phyllis Pierce, of Kansas City, KS; Jacqueline Pierce, of Eufaula, OK; Joy Pierce, of Eufaula, OK; sister, Debra Cummings, of Oklahoma City, OK; aunt, Ella D. Frazier, of Oklahoma City, OK; uncle, Luther Boykin, of Eufaula, OK; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five nieces: Juanita Stewart, Cordia Washington and husband, James; Ruby Tuner and husband, Dexter; Marie Young and husband, Kenny; and Estany Brady; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lou Jean Brown Pierce on December 29, 2014; parents, Auther Lee Pierce and Freddie Mae Medlock; son, Clarence Lee Pierce II; grandsons: Phillip J. Warrior and Theus as T.C. Martin; granddaughter, Angie Pierce; two sisters: Clarice Martin and Patricia Martin.
