Clara Tillman

Clara Tillman, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, in Gore, Oklahoma. Clara was born on March 14th, 1942, to Leslie and Opal (Hunter) Phillips, in Braggs, Oklahoma. She graduated from Braggs High School in 1960. On May 5, 1961, Clara married George Hubert Tillman in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They were happily married for sixty-one years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Clara enjoyed being outside working in her garden. She especially loved watching her grandchildren. They always made her smile and laugh.

Clara is survived by her husband, George Tillman of the home; son, Leslie Hubert Tillman and wife Allison of Porum, OK; daughter, Clara Kathleen Claypool and husband Gregg of Muskogee, grandchildren, Kenneth Claypool and wife Dalia of Muskogee, OK, Amber Jackson and husband Greg of Muskogee, Timothy Tillman, of Porum, Brittany Tillman and husband Charles Adams, of Porum; great grandchildren, Alex Claypool, Gabby Claypool, Trae Jackson, Bodie Smith and Charleigh Ray Adams; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Opal Phillips; and sisters Cherry Phillips and Katherine Ross.
