Clara "Bee" Bowen, Scheer Bohanan, Bozarth

Clara "Bee" Bowen, Scheer, Bohanan, Bozarth, 90, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her home. Clara was born on March 24, 1929, in Meeker, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harvey T. and Clara E. (Fraley) Bowen. She attended Mammoth Grade School in rural McLoud, Oklahoma and graduated from White Rock High School in Lincoln County, Oklahoma in 1946. Clara then attended the Stamps Quartet School of Music in Dallas, Texas. On November 1, 1946, Clara married Robert L. Scheer. On June 16, 1970, she married Arlen "Bo" Bohanan. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1985. Clara then married Carl D. Bozarth on June 7, 1989. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2018. Clara worked as a nurses assistant and also worked at Tinker Air Force Base. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Del City and Eufaula. Clara was an active member of the Eufaula First United Methodist Church. Her rule for living was as follows: We shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore; that we can do, or any kindness that we can show to any human being, let us do it now. May we not defer it or neglect it, for we shall not pass this way again. Survivors include: her son, Larry D. Scheer and wife Patricia of Stonebluff, OK; her daughter, Clarice Scheer Ashcraft of Eufaula, OK; three grandchildren, many step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, many step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey T. Bowen and Clara E. Fraley Bowen; her brothers, Trig Bowen, Hollie Bowen, Kelly Bowen, Harvey Bowen Jr.; her infant sister, Lula Mae Bowen; and her husbands, Robert L. Scheer, Arlen "Bo" Bohanan, and Carl D. Bozarth. She is also preceded in her son, Edward P. Scheer in 2005. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Oklahoma First United Methodist Church Circle of Care in honor of Bee
