Christine E Berry

Christine Elizabeth Berry, 92, of Eufaula, passed away on September 23, 2023 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Christine was born on April 28, 1931 in Hull, England to William Humphries and Lilian Maude (Cox) Burton. She graduated from the Episcopal High School in England. Christine served in the Women's British Air Force. On September 12, 1953, she married Leroy Berry in Hunstanton, Norfolk England. Christine worked at Western Electric for several years. She later worked at Yellowstone National Park as the human resources secretary before retiring. Christine enjoyed reading, bird watching, sewing and embroidering. She also like camping, traveling, and anything nature and outdoors. Christine loved all animals and always had some kind of pet. She was the sweetest, most kind, and loving lady and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include: daughter, Patricia McGourty and husband William "Bill", of Quinton, Oklahoma; son Steven Allen Berry and wife Sharon, of Brighton, Colorado; grandchildren: Brandon Heath Clift and wife Barbara, Heather Christine Berry, and Misti Dawn Folse and husband Matthew; great grandchildren: Laryssa "Abby", Hunter, Tyler, and Lauren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lilian Burton; husband, Leroy Berry; son, Leroy Berry, Jr.; daughter, Gwendolynn Marie Berry; and brothers: Anthony Burton, Victor Burton, and Tom Burton.
