Cheryl Annette Rackley

Cheryl Annette Rackley, 73, of Eufaula, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. Cheryl was born on October 16, 1946, in McAlester, Oklahoma the daughter of Arnold Albert and Sarah Francis (Emanuel) Russell. She lived most of her youth on various Air Force bases in the United States and Japan and graduated from McAlester High School in 1964 . She attended OSU Tech and Rose State College. Cheryl worked in Oklahoma City in the medical field for over twenty-five years. She also worked in the insurance business. She was a loving mother and wife and loved animals of every kind. She was a resident of Oklahoma City for many years where she met the love of her life, Tony Rackley. They married on June 7, 1983, in Gainesville, Texas. They moved to Eufaula in 2007. She was a member of the Lady Texanna Crafters. Survivors include: her husband, Tony, of the home; her daughters, Tracie Keplinger and Kim Curtis both of Oklahoma City; her sister, Marcia R. Russell; and three grandchildren, Tyler Curtis, Sarah Maldonado and Madison Maldonado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Albert and Sarah Russell.
