Charley "Cb" Story

Charley Beckham "CB" Story, Jr., age 78, of Midwest City, passed away October 5, 2020, in his childhood home, surrounded by his loved ones. CB was born on June 27, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas to Verna and Charley Story. CB loved fishing, OU, Football, Softball and the Broncos. He worked at the Sams Club in Midwest City for 17 years and did a little bit of everything. He met some good friends there. CB is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Purdon and oldest son, Lonnie Story. He is survived by his son Danny Story and daughter Deborah Morton, along with 6 nieces and nephews, Sheryl Goeller and husband Curt, Karen Bennett and husband Bobby, Janet Kramer, John Purdon and wife Lora, Bryan Purdon and wife Dana, Bobbie Powell and husband Robby; 9 grandchildren, Lindsay Christian and husband Preston, Brandon Story and wife Jessi, Becca Rains and husband Tim, Chad Story and wife Tiffany, Eric Morton and wife Taryn, Dusty Cook and wife Christina, Courtney Story, Morgan Semon and husband Ken, and Garrett Story; and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to voice their appreciation for Good Shepherd Hospice. A private family memorial will be held October 17, 2020, in Eufaula.
