Charles Jones

Charles Jones, 87, passed away in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 24th, 2022. Charles was born February 3rd, 1935 in Oktaha, Oklahoma to Claude and Mabel (McElroy) Jones. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1953. Charles married Jerry Ilene Nelson in October of 1953. They were married for 69 years. Charles was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, in Checotah. Charles was a man of faith and believed that mankind would live on a paradise earth. A competent hard worker who constructed two homes for his family to dwell. A successful business owner who employed up to twenty people prior to retiring. He loved to travel and see new sights, loved to fish with his brother and always was repairing mechanical items. Charles is survived by his wife, daughter; Heather Conklin and husband Patrick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandchildren; BreAnna Rochon and husband Jay of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Judge Conklin of Boynton Beach, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Troy Jones. A family conducted memorial service will be held on zoom at 1pm Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.
