Charles Edward Lackey

Charles Edward Lackey, 79, passed away Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Charles was born on December 6th, 1942 to Clem and Leorna (Moore) Lackey in Stidham, Oklahoma. He attended Stidham School. Charles married Rose Ella and the two were married for 42 years before her passing in 2014. He worked for Creek Nation for over fifteen years, and also drove a cement truck for Foresee Ready-Mix. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Charles is survived by his sons; Charles Edward Lackey Jr. and Donald Allen Lackey, daughters; Alesha Dickey and husband Royce of Eufaula, OK, Mary Ellen Sharp of Waldron, AK and Carol Stephens of Monroe, OK, sister; Caroline Willmon, eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Rose Ella, his parents and siblings; James Lackey, Leon Lackey, Charles Lackey, Nina Herron, Bill Lackey, Elvin Lackey, Harold Lackey and Junior Lackey.
