Charles "Chuck" Walter Johnson

Charles Walter “Chuck” Johnson, 54, of Rowlett, Texas passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. Chuck was born April 3, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Fred W. and Roberta “Bert” Belle (Sharp) Johnson. He graduated from Chouteau-Mazie High School in 1984. In December 1990, he married Shelly D. Thomason; they were together for five years. On April 12, 1996, Chuck married Rhonda Lee Massey in Oklahoma City. They were happily married for twenty-four years. He received his degree in Communications from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. Chuck came to know the Lord as his personal Savior at 17 years old at Faith Baptist Church in Chouteau, Oklahoma. He continued to express his love for the Lord through music at various churches and the families he came to know and love over the years. Chuck was a member of Frontline South in Moore, Oklahoma. Survivors include: his wife, Rhonda, of Rowlett, TX; his mother, Bert Johnson of Eufaula, OK; his Children, Amberly Giles and Levi of Norman, Brittany Johnson of Oklahoma City, Tyler Johnson and Angelica of Oklahoma City, Katie Thibodeaux and Rustin of Pryor; and his sister, Garrett Dean and James of Bethany; and his grandchildren, Hailey and Loxley. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred W. Johnson.
