Cathyrn Beatrice (Harris) Burleson

Cathyrn was born on January 20, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Sam Kermit and Phyllis Jane (Breedlove) Harris. She married G.C. Gray in 1955 and to this union they had four children Zane, Dee, Gerry and Cindy. Cathyrn later married Ronnie Joe Burleson and to this union they had two children Joe Don and William. She worked at Phillips 66 on the Indian Nation Turnpike for thirty years. She loved working in the community. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and also served on the Hanna Fire Department Board. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hanna. Cathyrn had several hobbies including, scrapbooking, working on the family genealogy and working with flowers. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include: her daughter, Cindy Harjo of Okmulgee; her sons, Zane Gray and wife Renee of Quinton, Dee Gray and wife Donna also of Quinton, Gerry Gray and wife Pam of Dustin, Joe Don Burleson and wife Angel of Independence, Missouri and William Burleson and wife Louella of Hanna; a brother, Joe Harris of DuPont, Washington; a sister, Teresa Byrd of Sand Springs; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Phyllis Harris; two brothers, Jim Harris and Kenneth Ray Harris, one sister, Phyllis Jean Harris and a son in law, Leslie Harjo.
