Carolynn Irene Moore, 71, of Checotah, passed away on June 3, 2020 at the St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee. Carolynn was born on July 12, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas to Edward Carol and Jimmie Irene (Shelton) Hall. She attended elementary school in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Crawford, Oklahoma and then high school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. On May 31, 1963, Carolynn married Ira "Ike" Moore in Wheeler, Texas. They were happily married for fifty-seven years. She worked as a cook and owned and operated several restaurants. Carolynn cooked for the Cheyenne Senior Citizens for over ten years, before retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Cheyenne. She was an avid bowler and softball player. Carolynn enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family. She and Ike moved to Checotah in 2014. Survivors include: her husband, Ira "Ike" Moore, of the home; daughters: Christy Hurst and husband, Derek; and Karen Moore, both of Checotah, OK; brothers: Fred Allen, Jr., of Prague, OK; Kevin Allen and wife, Ruth, of Wilburton, KS; Curtis Allen, of Wichita, KS; and Eddie Hall, of Mobile, AL; fourteen grandchildren: Andrea Gourley, Jayson Bonser, Kodey Hamman, Tera Hamman, Earl Webster III and wife, Taylor; Jonathan Webster and wife, Mikaela; Jordan Webster and wife, Micaela; Joshua Webster, Kaleigh Webster, Colton Moore, Darren Gentry, Nathan Gentry, Alyssa Gentry, and Brennan Gentry; thirty-one great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Angie Moore, a sister, Billie Jean Hall and her step parents, Fred Allen Sr. and Clifford Hall.
