Carol Joyce Brown

Carol Joyce Brown, 72, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. Carol was born on August 15, 1951, in Chickasha, Oklahoma the daughter of Barney and Clara (Tyler) Sims. She graduated from Chickasha High School. On December 3, 1973, Carol married Bobby Brown. They were happily married for fifty years and two daughters were born to this union. They moved from Grady County to Eufaula about six years ago. She enjoyed working puzzles, cooking for her family, and watching OU Sooners Football and Softball.

Carol is survived by her husband, Bobby Brown, of the home; two daughters: Clara Annie Haney and spouse Terry, of Chickasha; Laura Lynn Hughes and spouse Michael, of McAlester; three grandchilren: Montana Lynn Haney, Tanner Blake Haney, and Shane Hughes; two brothers: Barney Sims, of Minco and Allen Sims of Chickasha; and one sister, Janie Shell and spouse Rex, of Chickasha. She is preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Clara Sims; grandchild, Taylor Raeann Haney; and four siblings: David, Diane, Larry and Mona.
