Retired E8 MSgt. Carl Dee Bozarth, 94, of Eufaula passed away on November 7th, 2018 at his home. Carl was born September 12th, 1924 in Davis Oklahoma, the son of Dee Edward and Emma (Allen) Bozarth. Carl attended the Mountain Home School from 1st to 8th grade. Upon turning 17, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, then later joined the United States Army where he retired with 21 years of service. Carl was the owner of Napa Auto Parts in Bowie, Tx for many years. He then retired to the Eufaula area in 1986. On June, 7 1989 Carl married Clara Bernice Bowen in Crowder. They were happily married for 29 years. After retiring to the Eufaula area, Carl became a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was also a proud life member of the VFW Post 8798 and the American Legion Post 0213. Survivors include: his wife, Clara, of the home; sons, Billy Ray Bozarth and wife Marilyn, Kennith Bozarth and wife Sherri, Michael Bozarth and wife Kimberly, and a stepson, Larry Scheer and wife Patty; step daughters, Shirley Herndon and husband Bill, and Clarice Ashcraft and husband Tim; brothers, Johnny Bozarth and wife Lora, Billy Bozarth, and Patrick Bozarth and wife Sharon; numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Faye Smart; son Richard Bozarth; and sisters Faye Turney, Grace Tahsuda, and Peggy Wiley.
