Carl Brankley Gregory

June 24, 1937 — October 4, 2016

Carl was born on June 24, 1937, in Lurton, Arkansas the son of Lester and Gertie (Shelton) Gregory. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July 20, 1954. During his service he received the National Defense Service Medal, the China Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on June 18, 1958. Carl worked as a truck driver for Choctaw Express in Oklahoma City. After fifteen years together, Carl married Beatrice Brasier on November 26, 2001. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2012. Carl enjoyed building houses, setting tile and was a licensed plumber. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Survivors include: his sons, Daniel Gregory, Ronald Gregory, David Gregory, and Mark Gregory; his daughters, Teni Lynn Gregory and Tammy Gregory; his stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Lucille Whitfield, Katy Ellis, Sue Cooper, Brenda Pasada and a brother Ricky Gregory. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
