Brett Eugene Brooks

Brett Eugene Brooks, 48, of Eufaula, passed away on October 4, 2011 in Huntington Beach, California. Brett was born on June 20, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Gene Richard and Kathie An (House) Brooks. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1981, where he was a member of the FFA and Wrestling Team. Brett graduated from OSU Institute of Technology in 1983 with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Construction Technology. He was a 24 year member of Millwright Local #1607 in Los Angeles, CA. Brett received the 20 year Membership Award from Millwright Local. He was a member of the Open Bible Christian Church. Survivors include: his parents, Gene and Kathie Brooks, of Eufaula, OK; one sister, Lori Kimball and husband, Dan, of Ripley, OK; one niece, Larkin Gray, of Ripley, OK; and his grandmother, Margie House, of Eufaula, OK. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arlie House; and paternal grandparents, W.O. and Bernice Brooks.
