Brenda Sue Fleming

Brenda Sue Fleming, 65, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her home. Brenda was born on July 2, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of George Harold and Joy Ann (Miller) Semelka. She graduated from Oak Harbor High School in June 1970. On October 24, 1970, Brenda married Ronald Fleming. They lived in Port Clinton, Ohio until 1982, when they moved to McAlester, Oklahoma. In February 2002, Brenda moved to Eufaula. She ran a home day care for several years then worked at Wal Mart for twenty years. She retired from Wal Mart and worked part-time as a cashier for Nichols. She also was a substitute teacher for Eufaula High School. Brenda loved watching the Eufaula Ironheads especially during football when her grandsons played and her granddaughters cheered them on. She wasn't big on basketball, but she still went to the games to support her "extra grandkids". Survivors include: her daughter, Rhonda Adams and husband Randy of Eufaula; Joy Crider and husband Ray of Eufaula; her adopted sons, Christopher Reeder (who Brenda put a gate in her fence so he could come visit and use her pool anytime and Willie Gibson and wife Rhonda who stopped in every Thursday for his hugs; her brothers, Charles Semelka and wife Jackie of Toledo, Ohio and Gary Semelka and wife Jackie of Arkansas; her sisters, Tina Fleming and husband Mike of Port Clinton, Ohio and Jackie Weis and husband David of Kingsland, Georgia; ten grandchildren: Skyler Whitfield, Elizabeth Fleming, Dakota Adams and wife Casey, Sierra Adams, Jami Adams, Elijah Adams, Ronnie Adams and Ami Adams, Weslie Gibson and Hannah Burns; great grandson, James Adams; a bunch of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; all of her special grandkids at Eufaula High School and a special friend, Tevin Rittenhouse who she absolutely loved and thought the world of. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald and an infant son, Ronald, Jr.
