Bonnie Lockeby

Joyce Bonnie Lockeby,93, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, in McAlester. Joyce was born on November 10th, 1931, in Wheeler, TX, to Alfred and Myrtle (Jones) Talbott. On July 20, 1951, she married Jack Lockeby, in Oklahoma City, OK. Joyce worked at Aero Design Engineer at Tinker Air Force Base. She enjoyed playing piano, fishing tournaments with her husband, going to the lake, spending time with her poodles and doing yard work.

 Joyce is survived by one son, Randy Talbott-Lockeby and wife Kathy of Boone, IA.; one daughter, Virginia (Gini) Lee Lessly and husband Keith Wayne of Eufaula, OK; two grandchildren, Wayne R. Lessly and Heather N. Holder of Norman, OK. four great-grandchildren; Broden Lessly, Olivia Lessly, Roland Holder and Miles Lessly. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents Alfred and Myrtle Talbott; brother, W.D. Talbott; and sister, Virginia Lee Gloar.
