Bonnie "Leo" Sturgeon

Leo was born on August 27, 1929 in Mangum, Oklahoma to William Fines and Nettie (Barrett) Sturgeon. He attended school at Fisher Town on Texanna Road. On May 5, 1951, Leo married Evelyn Laughlin, who preceded him in death on March 5, 2006. He attended church at the Church of Christ in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Survivors include: his son, Paul Sturgeon and wife, Brenda, of Eufaula, OK; one daughter, Regina Spokely and husband, Gary, of Seminole, OK; two brothers, Wayne Sturgeon and wife, Katherian Jean, of Tahlequah, OK; twin brother, Lonnie Cleo, of McAlester, OK; three sisters, Hazel Utley, of McAlester, OK; Nina Faye Cunningham, of Adamson, OK; Patsy Ruth Mayse and husband, Less, of Leonard, TX; one brother in-aw, Dan Gould; and eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Fines and Nettie Sturgeon; his wife, Evelyn Laughlin Sturgeon; three sons, Lonnie Leo Sturgeon; Martin Evan Sturgeon; and Randal Bryan Sturgeon; four brothers, Joseph, Fines, Everett, and Horace; and two sister, Helen Pope; and Lois Gould.
