Bonnie Iretta Gilmore, 79, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Bonnie was born on July 7, 1943, in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Claude and Nona Iretta (Taylor) Clark . She grew up in a loving family of eleven brothers and sisters. On July 4, 1964, Bonnie married Monroe Charles Gilmore. They were happily married for thirty-nine years. Bonnie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years but her main job was raising her twelve children. She and Monroe lived in several states across the U.S. Bonnie loved fishing and being with her family. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include: her children, Lillian Burke and husband Kenny of Texas, Rex Diggs of Crowder, Diane Mercer and husband Jimmie of Texas, Bonnie Carmichael and husband Robert of Georgia, Monroe Jr. and wife Ladene of McAlester, Karen Blaylock of Texas, Donna Logston and husband Kirk of Texas, William Gilmore of Crowder, Matthew Gilmore of Crowder, Scott Gilmore of Ohio and Greg Gilmore of McAlester. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and several siblings. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Monroe, her son, Jimmy Lee and some of her siblings
