Bobby Wayne Swindler

August 16, 1954 — December 6, 2019

Bobby W. Swindler left this life on December 6th, 2019 at the age of 65. His daughters and faithful dog were at his side when he passed away in his own home. The Army took him to Alaska where he lived many years, fishing and being ornery with his friends at The Badger Den. He retired from a civil service career on Ft. Wainwright. He spent the last ten years of his life living near Lake Eufaula, restoring old cars and hanging with his dog, Boone. He was a proud member and former commander of the American Legion, Post 11 in Fairbanks, Alaska. Bob was so proud of his children and 11 grandchildren and he will be missed so much.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Edna Swindler and brother Jimmy Swindler. He is survived by his children, Lucas Swindler and wife Krystal of Moore, O.K., Britni Means and husband Will of Jacksonville, N.C., and Brandi Swindler of Oklahoma City, O.K.
