Bobbie Sue Solesbee

January 9, 1931 — August 30, 2015

Bobbie was born on January 9, 1931 in Pierce, Oklahoma to Albert and Ethel (Prater) Morgan. Bobbie graduated from Checotah High School, where she played basketball and was on the State Championship Team of 1946-1947. In 1968, she married Berry Solesbee, who preceded her in death in 1998. They were happily married for over thirty years. Bobbie worked as the McIntosh County Court Clerk from 1973-1993. Survivors include: sons: Thomas Akers and wife, Theresa, of Eufaula, OK; Donald Akers, Jr. and wife, Leslie, of Eufaula, OK; brother, Roger Morgan, of Choctaw, OK; Johnny Morgan, of Nebraska; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Sue Gass in 2006; four sisters: Nona, Doris, Leva, and Myra; three brothers: Bill, Bud, and Joe; one grandson, Shawn Akers in 2001.
