Billye Bernice Martin

Billye Bernice Martin, 87, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Cornerstone Hospital. Billye was born on August 8, 1932, in Ryal, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oliver and Pearl Trusley. She married Junior "Jack" Martin on January 8, 1949, in Eufaula. Billye worked as a cook at JM's Restaurant. She loved to cook, chocolate gravy and Mississippi mud pies were her favorite. She also loved to spend time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include: her son, Phillip Martin and wife Dorothy of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Linda Smith of Eufaula; her brother, Ronnie "Jackie" Trusley of Arizona; her sisters, Evelyn "Dolly" Alexander of Oklahoma City and Shirley "Sissy" Deering also of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, her son, Richard Martin, her sister, Mary Pascher, her brothers, James Trusley, Junior Trusley and Sonny Trusley and a grandson, Tony Martin.
