Billy Earl Pliley

Billy was born on October 17, 1932 in Cardin, Oklahoma to William Dayton and Edna Pearl (Simpson) Pliley. He graduated from Picher High School in 1950. Billy served in the United States Army from 1952 - 1954 in California. He graduated from NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma in 1953. Bill lived in Dallas, Texas from 1986 - 1996. He worked as a sales representative for B.F. Goodrich. He was an OU and Dallas Cowboy fan. On October 30, 1998, Billy married Jean Ruth Perryman in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They were happily married for nineteen years. Billy was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was also an active member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1, serving one year as the Grand Master. He was a Bedouin Shrine McClown and drove the small cars in parades. While not an actual member, Billy donated much of his time to the Eufaula VFW Post 8798. At one time, Billy served as Vice President of the local AARP doing community service for local organizations. Survivors include: his wife, Jean, of the home; daughters: Teresa Ann Pliley, of Eufaula, OK; Vicky Lynn Mauldin and husband, John, of Edmond, OK; three grandchildren: Kyle Kasenurm and wife, Leah; Zachary Mauldin; and Jacob Malone and Kristan Williams; and two great grandchildren: Kai and Major. He is also survived by Jean's family Frances Dalton and husband Brian, their children, Taylor Griffith, Bailey Wilson, Evanne Dalton and their children, Abigail Wilson and Trystan Shupuk; Cindy Vrla and husband David, their children, Carrie and Joshua Hatfield, and Carlie and Jacob Woodlee, and their children Cody Hatfield, Ryann Hatfield, Cash Woodlee, Jaxon Woodlee and Noah Woodlee; Steve Lenhart and wife Gigi, their son, Joshua Lenhart and daughter Rachel Lenhart. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters: Virginia, Dorothy, and Thelma.
