Billy Don Grissom

Billy Don was born on October 22, 1947, in Sulpher, Oklahoma the son of Bill W. and Wanda Jo (Dyer) Grissom. He attended school in Lewisville, Texas. When he was 18, Billy enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged four years later. On December 31, 1969, Billy married Patricia Lee Hill in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on September 12, 2008. On March 12, 2011, Billy married Shelley Lynn Wallace in Eufaula. Billy worked as an electrician and was part owner of G & C Electric for 20 plus years. He was a member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Lake Eufaula Christian Church. Survivors include: his wife, Shelley, of the home; his daughter, Tammie Dawn Wicks and husband Shane of Broken Arrow; his sons, Bill Edwin Grissom and wife Shannon and Forest Robert Cleveland both of Eufaula; his grandchildren, Amber Paige Edwards, Zachary Jay Parker, Katelyn Nicole Grissom, Harley Dawn Parker, Courtney Brooke Gibson, Chasidy Wicks, Darby Wicks and Justin Wicks; and his great grandchildren, Abbie, Destry, Allie, Kai, Kaleah, Kalani and Harper. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Patricia. The graveside part of the service is being held at 2:00 p.m. due to the distance of travel to Reagan Cemetery. It will take approximately an hour and a half to get there.
