Billie Jo Welch

Billie Jo Welch, 74, of Pilot Point, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Pilot Point, Texas. Billie was born on May 21, 1938 in Clayton, Oklahoma to Harold Ray and Ruth Pauline (Barns) House. In 1955, she married Donald Welch, who preceded her in death in 1970. Billie spent most of her life living in Oklahoma City before moving to Pilot Point, Texas to be closer to family for the last five years. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her three sons: Kenneth Welch and wife, Helen, of Krugerville, Texas; Tommy Welch & wife Susanne of Penasco, N.M.; Roy Stevens, of Wichita, KS; four daughters: Donna Welch & husband Frank Perra of Seminole, OK; Paula Phelps & husband Donny of Wichita, KS; Rose Shipman, of Wichita, KS; Ruth Pigg, of Nacoma, TX; twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth House; one infant son; son, Alfred Welch; one daughter, Ginger Mitchell; and five brothers and sisters.
