Billy "Bill" Edward Dismuke, 88, of Tulsa, passed away on January 2, 2018 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill was born on January 19. 1929 in McAlester, Oklahoma to J.W. "Bill" and Oda (Nobles) Dismuke. He graduated from Crowder High School in 1947. On November 27, 1952, Bill married Ruby Floella Moody in McAlester, Oklahoma. They were happily married for sixty-five years and raised two children together. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a telegraph operator. Bill worked as a dispatcher at Hale-Halsell for over forty years. He was a member of the Mekko Baptist Church in McAlester, Oklahoma. Bill was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include: his wife, Ruby, of the home; son, John Dismuke and Davina; daughter, Patricia Needham; five grandchildren: Barry Needham; Billy Needham; Brooke Turner and husband, Tim; Chad Dismuke; and Shyla Harris and husband, W.K. "Riker"; twelve great grandchildren: Hunter Needham and wife, Jaye; Logan Dilbeck; Quintin Needham and wife, Erica; Austin Needham; Briar Needham; Sawyer Turner; Lane Dismuke; Jonathan Dismuke; Haylee Dismuke; Reagan Harris; Lucy Harris; and Charlotte Harris; five great great grandchildren: Jaxen Needham; Hazen Needham; Tegan Needham; Piper Dilbeck; and Juniper Dilbeck; six nieces: Connie Counts and husband, Kelsey; Norma Leichner and husband Monte; Sandra Coyle and husband, Sean; Phyllis Martin and husband, JW; Linda McFarland; Jeanette Hunt Kleeman and husband, Howard; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; brothers in-law: JL Moody and Shawn Moody; and sisters in-law, Wilma Morris and husband, Brown; and Eunice Mizell and husband, Jim. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Lee "Bud" Dismuke; sisters: Mildred Smith and Helen Coolbaugh; and sister in-law, Gladys Donaldson.
