Beulah Mae Phelps

Beulah Mae Phelps, 92, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home. Beulah was born on August 11, 1922, in Eufaula, Oklahoma the daughter of James Lee and Nerva (Hayden) Parker. She attended school at Old Dixie and at Lemoore, California. On February 28, 1941, Beulah married Ardell Phelps in Lenna, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death after 47 years of marriage on September 7, 1988. Beulah was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing gardening and cooking. She loved to read recipe books. Survivors include: her son, Mark Phelps of Lenna; her daughters, Phyllis Walters of Tulsa, Donna Pearce and husband Gene of Sapulpa and Connie Vickroy and husband Dennis of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; her sister, Dolly Jackson of Stigler; 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Delbert (Debbs) Phelps, three brothers and three sisters.
