Betty Lorene Dobson

Betty Lorene Dobson, 56, of Eufaula, passed away on March 1, 2018 at her home. Betty was born on June 19, 1961 in Nashville, Arkansas to Francis Augustine and Sue (Pierce) Judkins. On November 29, 1996, she married Carl Eugene Dobson in Tulsa. They were happily married for twenty-one years. They moved from Tulsa to Eufaula in 2006. She was an avid book reader and worked as an assistant librarian. She received an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from Rose State College in 2015. Betty loved to play Bunko with the girls and being a beach bum at the lake. She was also a Blue Star Mom. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Carl "Gene" Eugene Dobson and their dogs, Sissy and Sasha, of the home; mother, Sue Gragg; sons: Justin Owen and wife, Sherell, of Sands Springs, OK; James Owen, of Tulsa, OK; daughters: Jill Owen, of Tulsa, OK; Lindsey Stokes and husband, Josh, of Coweta, OK; sister, Lynne Hall and husband, Gary, of Sand Springs, OK; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Judkins.
