Betty Jean Jefferson, 93, of Eufaula, passed away on May 21, 2019 at the Eufaula Manor. Betty was born on December 20, 1925 in Yale, Oklahoma to Pearl Marshall and Alice Mae (Owen) Bowman. Betty worked as a secretary at the State Capitol in the Parks Division. Survivors include: her son, Richard Whitman, of Eufaula; daughters, Charlotte, Carol Whitman, both of Oklahoma City, and Teresa Henson, of Oregon. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
