Betty was born on June 22, 1936 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Herbert and Etta May (Turner) Kindrick. She graduated from Del City High School in 1954. In 1955, Betty married S.J. Cox, who preceded her in death in 1994. Betty was a homemaker and also worked in home health. Betty was a very strong Christian woman. She enjoyed fishing and being on the lake, and raised a garden ever year. She also loved canning and cooking. Betty loved her husband and family. She had a great sense of humor and was very independent. Betty was a resident of Eufaula since 1970. She was a proud member of the VFW Post 8798. Betty will be missed dearly. Survivors include: daughters: Janice Dian Cox; Debra Ann Cox; LaDonna Cox and husband, James Miller, of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren: Aaron Fogorty and wife, Kelly; Ayla Fogorty; and Spencer Detimore; four great grandchildren: Ethan, Tierney, Preston, and McKayla; dear nephew, Jess Phelps and wife, Bonnie, of Eufaula, OK; many friends of the Eufaula Community and especially the Eufaula Seniors Citizens Center. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: John and Floyd; and two sisters: Lois and Wanda.
