Betty "Bj" Joan Hampton

Betty was born on July 14, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Parnosky and Nancy Sue Parnosky (Fields). She graduated from Webster High School in 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On December 12, 1965, Betty married Scotty Buford Hampton. They were happily married for fifty years. She was a house wife. Betty was a member of the Big Arbor Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughters, Katie Lynn Hampton Stafford and husband Mike of Eufaula, Norma Lynn Smith and husband Keith of Oklahoma City; her son, Gary Ray Hampton of Eufaula; her sisters, Karlata Jackson of Tulsa and Sandy Parish of Muskogee; her brother, Ivan Parnosky and wife Carol of Eufaula; her grandchildren, Trenton, Justin, Christopher Scott, Timothy, Brandon, Heidi, Haley and Kyla. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Scott Hampton and a son, Marcus Ray Hampton.
