Bessie C. Dozier

Bessie was born on February 28, 1927, in Kaufman, Texas, the daughter of Claude and Clara C. (Foley) Sisco. She married Edgar E. Dozier in Memphis, Texas on January 17, 1944. Bessie attended the First Apostolic Church of Longtown. She was involved in the Dozier Family Ministry for fifty years serving as a songwriter and minister. Survivors include: her sons, Dennis E. Dozier of Wynnewood, Alex W. Dozier of the home, Clifton W. Dozier of Durango, Colorado and Lancey L. Dozier of Eufaula; her daughters, Angelean Dozier of the home; and Dayna M. Dozier of Eufaula; her sister, Marzell Willis of Redmond, Oregon; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-two plus great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edgar E. Dozier and a son, Ronny L. Dozier.
