Benny Joe Robinson

Benny was born on January 9, 1943 in Newkirk, OK, the son of Elmer and Irene (Skinner) Robinson. He graduated from high school in 1961in Hobbs, New Mexico. Benny worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. He was also a New Mexico Highway Patrolman for 10 years, and a police officer in Hobbs for a short time. He is survived by: his son, Alan Robinson and wife Jessica of Keller, TX; daughters, Julie Blanchard and husband Kenny of Los Cruces, NM, and Kristin Stone and husband Darren of Abilene, TX; brother, Bobby Robinson of Newkirk, OK; a special friend Sue Colton of Eufaula; and 9 grandchildren. Benny is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, James, and Bill; and sisters, Ethel Sade, Ester Sweet, Betty, and Effie.
