Barry Dean Pearce, Sr., 58, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord & Savior Friday, June 11, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Barry was born on February 10, 1963, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of Arlie Dean Pearce and Avis Marie (Hampton) Pearce. He graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1981. On July 8, 1995, Barry married Darla Kay Daniels at the Morrison Floral Conservatory in Oklahoma City. They were happily married for twenty-five years. Barry owned and operated Triple G Coatings. He was an active member of Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. Barry was a born again believer in Christ. He loved God and his family, and especially loved his nine grandchildren. Barry’s passion was hard work and telling others about Jesus. All of his company marketing tools included the plan of salvation and scripture verses. Barry was a volunteer in prisons, where he taught and preached, and he also taught Sunday school at Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. Barry loved life and was a generous giver. Whether it was snow skiing in Colorado or camping in the grasslands or working long hours at multiple jobsites, he applied himself fully. He had a keen ear to pick up on when someone had a need, and he found joy in helping meet that need. Whether you knew Barry for many years or only a brief time, if he was teasing or being ornery with you that was his way of saying he liked you. Survivors include: his wife, Darla, of the home; his mother, Avis James of Oklahoma City; sons, Barry "Cowboy" Pearce II and wife Felicia of Checotah and Brady Pearce of Eufaula; daughters, Amanda Jones and husband Robert of Asher and Olivia Pearce of Eufaula; sisters, Karen Gold and husband Michael of Tulsa, Arlene Schwartz and husband Russell of Choctaw and Marla Pearce of Bethany; and his grandchildren, Landen, Karson, Khloe, Kenzie, Lincoln, Sawyer, Maverick, Langston and Denim. He is preceded in death by his father, Arlie Dean Pearce.
