Barbara Jean Ragsdale

Barbara "Barb" Jean Ragsdale, 63, of Eufaula, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Barb was born on January 14, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Leon Ragsdale Jr. and Betty Evelyn Atkison. She graduated from Quinton High School in 1977. Barb was a nurse's aide for over twenty years, working at the Eufaula and Quinton Manor Nursing Homes. She enjoyed Thunder Basketball and spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Barb especially loved kids. Survivors include: her mother, Betty Atkison Lilly; two sisters: Jacquita Sue Ball and Kathy Pearson McKibben; three brothers: Billy Ray Ragsdale, Lonnie Lee Pearson, and stepbrother, Jack Brady Pearson; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Ragsdale, Jr. and stepfather, Otis Ray Pearson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Lake Eufaula Christian Church, HWY 9 West, Eufaula, Oklahoma 74432.
