Barbara H. Pilgrim

Barbara Helen Pilgrim, 80, passed away at her Eufaula home on October 19, 2020 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Eldest daughter to Elvin & Helen Hart, she was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 46 years, Bob F Pilgrim; and her youngest sister, Cherry Nippert. Born in Chickasha on October 31, 1939 and raised in Oklahoma City, Barbara graduated Class of 1957 from US Grant High School and worked 21 years as a secretary for State Farm Insurance. For 16 years she was a dedicated member of the Texanna Lady Crafters. We remember her love of fishing, quilting, crafting, cooking for her family & friends, and above all else for being an amazing mother and devoted grandmother. Being loved by so many, Barbara will be remembered by her son, Boyd; daughter & son-in-law, Bobbie & Jeremy; grandchildren, Brandi, Caleb & Zua, Zakery & Kelly; great granddaughters, Mykaela & Olive; younger sister & brother-in-law, Kathy & Jimmy; nieces & nephews, Jim & Laurie, Carla & Rick, Darla & Philip, Sabra, & Barrett; and her many grandnieces & nephews. She brought us comfort and was our rock, but we know she’s joined dad at the fishin’ hole. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer’s Association. Personal memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
