Anthony "Tony" David Notaro

March 28, 1959 — April 2, 2016

Anthony "Tony" David Notaro, 57, of Eufaula, passed away on April 2, 2016 at his home. Tony was born on March 28, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Patrick Anthony Sr. and Nina Jean (Drew) Notaro. He graduated from Severna Park, Maryland High School as a decathlon champion. Tony attended the University of Maryland, where he became a World Champion Boxer. Also while attending the University of Maryland, he was FBI secured. Tony worked as a bodyguard for H.W. Bush parties and celebrities when they visited the capital. He moved closer to his parents when his dad got sick to help take care of them. After his father passed, Tony stayed because his mother needed him. He was elected as a Creek Nation Council Member for Muscogee Creek Nation for 4 years. He also served as Sgt. at Arms for the council. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his mother, Nina Jean Notaro; sister, Gina Ruth Notaro, both of Eufaula, OK; and brother, Tom James. He is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Anthony Notaro, Sr.; and brother, Patrick Anthony Notaro, Jr.
