Annette Stanley, 70, of Quinton, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Annette was born on January 4, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Ivestor Lee and Cymanthia (Jacobs) VanMatre. She graduated from Alma High School in 1971. She raised her two children in Alma until 1983 when she moved to Quinton, Oklahoma. She worked at Wal-Mart as pharmacy tech in Stigler. She also managed Jim Bobs convenience store in Quinton. On May 30, 2014, Annette married Richard "Anthony" Stanley at Lake Eufaula Brooken Cove. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved fishing and camping.
Survivors include: her daughter, Charlotte Easley of Howe; son, Kenny Sills and wife Lynn of Quinton; grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Sills, Wyatt Sills, Blaine Sills, Rayne Gibson, Tierra and Chad Scott, Justin and Autumn McGowan, Josh and Hannah McGowan, Cassie and Chris Karpenski, and Derrick McGowan; great grandchildren, Courtney, Brayson, Jacob, Zayne, Elijah, Brayen, Aceyn, Zaleigh, Bryler and Zain; brother, Lee VanMatre, sister, Sharon Gragg and husband Freddie, and brother, Lesley VanMatre. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivestor and Cymanthia VanMatre and husband Anthony Stanley.
