Anna Lou Reiter, 89, of Canadian, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Anna was born on March 14, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Luther and Verna (Nelson) Staats. She married Joseph Daniel Reiter on September 25, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas. They were happily married 60 years. Anna worked as a banker at the Liberty National Bank in Oklahoma City. Following her retirement, Anna worked with her husband at Reiter Services an oilfield chemical business in Seminole. Early into her retirement, Anna began quilting and created many beautiful pieces. She was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include: her sons, Joseph Daniel Reiter and wife, Linda of Canadian, and William Dallas Reiter and wife Myra of Harrah; son in law, Victor Gollahon of Tulsa; daughter in law, Marilyn Reiter of Pennsylvania; sister, Sue Whitnah and husband, Bob, of Edmond; sister in-law, Ruth Shipman, of Checotah; grandchildren, Denine Ann Baldor (Gollahon), Ian Jonathan Gollahon, Joseph Daniel Reiter III, Jacob Aaron Reiter, Lori Michelle Armstrong (Reiter), Heather Lea Elkin (Reiter), Sarah Luella Meaders (Reiter), Jennifer Diane McEntyre (Reiter), Julie Anne Reiter, Matthew William Reiter, Titus Jonathan Reiter, Daniel Wesley Reiter, Caleb Andrew Reiter, Elisabeth Joy Reiter; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Charles L Reiter; daughter, Darlana Denine Gollahon; and grandson, James Daniel Gollahon.
