Anita Kay Mcneely

Anita Kay McNeely, 58, of Eufaula passed away on October 27, 2015 at her home. Anita was born on July 3, 1957 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Donald Keith and Linda Lou (Bumgarner) Brown. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1975. Anita married Thomas Lee McNeely and raised three children together. They made their life in Eufaula, Oklahoma until 1989, when they moved to Montana. She later returned to Eufaula, where she worked for Creek Nation for five years and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for over seventeen years. Anita enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also liked to quilt and go to the casino. Survivors include: her father, Donald Brown, of Eufaula, OK; son, Cheyenne McNeely, of Eufaula, OK; daughters: Celesta McNeely, of Eufaula, OK; and Christy Goodyear, of Muskogee, OK; brother, Donald Keith Brown, Jr., of Kinta, OK; sister, Sherry Barnett, of Eufaula, OK; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Brown.
