Alice also known as Minnie Alice was born on January 29, 1944. She passed away on January 20, 2021, at the Checotah Nursing Home in Checotah, Oklahoma. Alice was born in McAlester, Oklahoma to J.H. and Maggie Flowers. Alice grew up in Checotah. She loved the song Let's Do the Twist. When she was 18 years old, she attended Faith Temple Church where she met the love of her life, JR Haggard. On June 19, 1962, Alice married JR and had a collaborative and caring relationship based on mutual support and deep love for each other. Alice loved being a homemaker and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with family, picking mustard greens and cooking them for family dinners, and going camping. In her spare time, Alice loved to dress up. She cared a lot about how she looked. Alice also had a passion for Poodles owning several dogs throughout her lifetime. She was a kind and gentle person, but don't let that fool you, she would put you in your place if you were out of line.
