Alecia Kay Tilley

Alecia Kay Tilley, 74, of Eufaula, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at her home. Kay was born on October 4, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Elzie Curtis and Mattie B. (Williams)Wilson. She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas. Kay married Donald H. Tilley on November 16, 1973 in Dallas, Texas. They were happily married for fifty years. She worked in childcare, nursing homes, and physical therapy. Kay was an avid writer and had several published works in children's books and poems.

Survivors include: her husband, Donald Tilley, of the home; son, Chris Tilley, of Warner; daughter, Amber Henson, of Longtown; eight grandchildren: Aloura Henson, Tyler Tilley, Karissa Casey, Lane Tilley and fiance Shaneese Nixon, Preston Henson, Jamie Tilley, Collin Henson, and Elaina Tilley; two great grandchildren: Zander and Anniston; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elzie Wilson, Jr.; sisters: Peggy Donakey, Wanda Vance-West, and Juanita Skierski.
