Ajay King, 16, of Eufaula, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home after a long battle with Osteosarcoma. Ajay was born on January 20, 2002 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Mitchell Leon and Ellen Jean (Pelis) King. He attended Stidham Public Schools from Preschool to 8th grade, where he was the valedictorian of his graduating class. Ajay was a sophomore of Eufaula Public Schools where he received a Superintendent's Award. He also attended Kiamichi Technology College. Ajay became an honorary graduate on August 17, 2017 as well as an honorary member of Lawmen & Special Agent and honorary member of The Eufaula Police Department Badge #110. Ajay was a very gifted artist, an Ironhead sports fan, and had aspirations to become a Forensic Investigator. Survivors include: his parents, Mitchell and Ellen King, of the home; sisters: Jeannie Edwards, of Eufaula, OK; Michelle Shaffer, of Eufaula, OK; Penny Karnes, of Porter, OK; Jessica Ward; and Jamie Hamble, both of Colorado; and brothers: Tim Beaty, of Mississippi; Jerry Shaffer, of Eufaula, OK; David Edwards, of Eufaula, OK; and Adam Karnes, of Porter, OK.
