Susan Mae Kelley

Susan Mae Kelley, 76, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, in Stigler. Susan was born on December 2, 1943, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Glen Burton and Anna Florence (Hall) Angstead. She grew up in Iowa and lived in California. She moved to Oklahoma to live close to her children. She received her GED on February 17, 1982 from Indian Hills Community College. On December 24, 1959, Susan married Herman D. Edwards. On June 18, 1985, Susan married Everett Leon Kelley. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2000. Susan was a homemaker. Survivors include: her sons, Kirk Edwards and wife Millinda of Porum, Glen Edwards of Eufaula; step sons, Mike Kelley, Tim Kelley and Brian Kelley both of Iowa; her daughters, Sherry Drum and husband Edward of Reno, Nevada, Julie Edwards and Jeff Lambert of Eufaula; her sisters, Janet Etzel of Arizona, Judy Callan of Fairfield, Iowa and Joyce Damron of Iowa, fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jerry Massey, and her husband, Everett Kelley.
