Sharon Kay Miller

Sharon Kay Miller, 75, passed away on February 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Sharon was born on December 17, 1948 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Cecil Leeper and Lucille Spillers. In 1965, she married Shorty Metcalf. They were married for twenty-four years and three sons were born to this union. On July 4, 1995, Sharon married Charlie Miller in South Carolina. They were married for twenty-eight years. She thought the world of her husband and was forever grateful for the love and life he gave her. Sharon was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Eufaula. She loved attending church, cooking for her family, and having family get togethers. Sharon also loved being outside, gardening, tending to her plants, shopping trips with her girls and playing and spending time with all her grandkids and great grandkids. During the summer, she loved to can and teach her children and grandchildren all the traditions to pass down. Sharon was such a monumental figure of her family.

Survivors include: her husband, Charlie Miller, of the home; three sons: Joe Metcalf, Gene Metcalf, Brian Metcalf and wife Kim, all of Eufaula, OK; step daughter, Tracy Fleming; brother, Steve Leeper, of Eufaula; sister in-law, Ruthann Leeper; eleven grandchildren: Bryan Vermillion, Kasidee Beaver and husband Aaron, Jordan Metcalf, Autumn Metcalf, Jacob Metcalf and wife Madison, Micah Metcalf, Amanda Metcalf, Josh Metcalf, Jeremiah Metcalf, Ethan Metcalf, and Kayden Metcalf; and five great grandchildren: Mason, Tatum, Kai, Myles, and Kash. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lucille Leeper; sister, Lauralie Sue Frederick; brother, Cecil "Bus" Leeper and nephew Timmy Frederick.
