Oneta B Price

Oneta was born on October 26, 1926, in Weleetka, Oklahoma the daughter of Harvey and Julia (McElroy) Austin. She graduated from Mason High School in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. On November 11, 1944, Oneta married J.R. Davenport in Okemah, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 47 years. On April 5, 1996, Oneta married Bill Price in Eufaula. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2007. Oneta worked as the Activity Director for Rebold Manor in Okmulgee. She was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church in Tulsa. Survivors include: her sons, Jim Davenport of Eufaula; Joe Davenport of Tulsa and Gary Price and wife Jane; daughter-in-law, Rita Davenport of Tulsa; her sisters, Mary Barber of Owensville, Missouri and Faye Bisbee of Atwood, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jennifer Davenport, Curt Price, Kim Allison and Kristen Price and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.R. Davenport, her husband, Bill Price, a son, John Davenport, sister, Eunice Bisbee and two brothers, Raymond and Darrell Austin.
