Lanny Doyle Satterfield

Lanny Doyle Satterfield, 66, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Lanny was born on October 19, 1950, in McAlester, Oklahoma the son of Junior Doyle (JD) and Betty Lou (Bookout) Satterfield. He attended Quinton Public Schools. Lanny worked with his father in small engine repair for over twenty years. He loved going to car shows and working on old cars. He also loved his dogs Shadow and Casper. Survivors include: his brothers, Robert Satterfield and wife Mary of Quinton and Dennis Satterfield and wife Nancy of Russellville; his sisters, Sandra Smith of Checotah and Karen Purdom and husband Rocky of Quinton. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Lanny is preceded in death by his parents.
