Elizabeth Ellen Barnett

Elizabeth Ellen Barnett, 48, passed away on July 27, 2023, at home. Elizabeth was born on February 3, 1975, to Russell and Sherry (Brown) Barnett. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1993. During that time she was drum major her junior and senior year and played the saxophone, bari-sax and the clarinet. Beth was very musically inclined. She was employed at Jess Dunn Correctional Center for several years where she worked as a correctional officer. She also worked as a security officer at the Eufaula Indian Casino. Beth belonged to the Pentecostals of Eufaula. Her hobbies were crocheting, hunting, fishing, riding her motorcycle and helping family and friends, drawing and spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her belly laugh followed by the person's name who made her laugh.

She is survived by her parents Russell and Sherry Barnett of Eufaula, two sisters Diana Haley and husband Brian of Eufaula, Jeanette Barnett of Eufaula; two sons, 4 grandkids, 2 nieces and 4 great nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Linda Brown and Daniel and Jennie Mae Barnett.
