Cecil Edward Evans, 74, of Eufaula, passed away on May 4, 2017 at his home. Cecil was born on November 15th, 1942 in Stockton, California to Wylie and Francis Juanita Marical (Evans). He attended Crooked Oak School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Cecil was a 1960 graduate of Crooked Oak High School. In January 1962, he married Patricia Lenning. To this union one child, Caron, was born. Cecil worked as a Plumbing Heating & Air Contractor. He later married Patty Mathis in February 1970. They lived in Oklahoma City until moving to Choctaw in 1980. Cecil moved his family again to Jones in 2003, before residing in Eufaula in 2016. Survivors include: his wife, Patty Evans, of the home; son, Travis Evans and wife, Lori, of Choctaw, OK; daughters: Caron Harvey and husband, Mike, of Moore, OK; and Torri McElvany and husband, Jeremy, of Jones, OK; brothers: Jerry Evans and wife, Debbie, of Pottsboro, TX; and Larry Cummings, of Eufaula, OK; sister, Barbara Roberts and husband, David, of Eufaula, OK; and nine grandchildren: Andrew Morgan, Mackenzie Harvey, Coby Clark, Chris Vreeland, Tucker Evans, Taitum McElvany, Izzy Vreeland, Towry Evans, and Timber McElvany. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Wylie and Francis J. Evans; and life long friend, Louis Blevins.
